A âministerâ in Kentucky by the name of Maurice Blanchard was recently arrested with his homosexual partner Dominique James for trespassing. Apparently the two went to the county clerkâs office to get a marriage license â something that violates state law. When they couldnât get one, they wouldnât leave...even after being told to by the staff, a security guard, and the Louisville Metro Police. In their trial, the jury found them guilty but, showing solidarity with the practicing homosexuals, fined them a penny for the crime. Needless to say, the two violators feel âvindicated.â When asked why they did this, Blanchard said, âIf you are called by God to do something, you do it.â So even though spiritual concerns are not acceptable to use in rejecting the gay movement, they are apparently acceptable to use in advancing it. We are in dark times indeed. If the church cannot rise up to stop the blasphemy of those who would invoke Godâs name to advance sin in the culture, it is an utterly useless force for truth and righteousness, destined to be spewed from the mouth of the Divine.
